Bible Study

The following Bible studies are available on Sundays at 9:45am

  • Our summer study of evangelism set the stage by addressing the “what,” “why,” and “who,” through a Biblical study that focused on developing an understanding of the mission of the Church and our role within it. Now we are about to transition into a practical approach, where we examine the “where” and the “how” in order to provide a toolkit of ideas for application in our individual lives.
    The course will use the “Caring Evangelism” materials from the Stephen Ministry organization. It will provide a non-threatening approach that will provide help and guidance that all Christians can use in their daily life. We begin on November 27 with a pre-Christmas four part introduction on “Evangelizing the Evangelist” in order to provide details of the good news message. This will be followed in January with a ten-week series providing instruction on the “how.” Bob Greenwalt is the instructor, and the class will meet in the Fireside Room. Hope to see you there!
  • Anxiety and Fear - They plague us all in varying degrees. What does God have to say about them? What can be done about them? Some people have chemical imbalances or psychological issues requiring medication or therapy. These are beyond the scope of this class. We'll discuss the everyday worry we allow to control our lives. Bring your own Bible to write in and a notebook. This class will meet in the Conference Room and the discussion will be facilitated by Laura Gong.

  • The Monday Morning Bible Study will meet on at 9:30am in the home of Ann Brand. The study is Lifelight Series: “Ecclesiastes.”
  • Friday Morning Women’s Bible Study will meet on at 9:30am in the Fireside Room. Join us to explore the Beth Moore study of Esther, It's Tough Being a Woman.
  • All men are invited to Friday Morning Men’s Breakfast Bible Study at Shari’s Restaurant, 1116 Stanley Blvd, Livermore, on Fridays at 6:30am.
