Becoming a Member
This is your guide to formally becoming a part of the Christian community here at Our Savior. We pray for God’s blessings as you join us in worship, study, fellowship and service.
Step 1
Please contact the ministries’ administrative office, 447-1246, to ask questions and begin the process.
Step 2
Sign up for the Bible Basic Seminar through the administrative office. These classes are offered three to four times a year. This seminar is lead by a variety of facilitators, including our Senior Pastor, Philip Scharnitzke, and the seminar includes a discussion of the Christian faith based on Biblical teachings that define our Lutheran Doctrine.
Step 3
If you are currently a member of another LCMS congregation, please contact them asking for your transfer to Our Savior Lutheran Church, Livermore, CA.
Step 4
Participate in the next Reception of New Members, which is held at the end of each Bible Basic Seminar.
Step 5
Continue with regular worship attendance and the study of God’s Word.
